OMO, “Kirlenmek Güzeldir” temelinin üzerine inşa etmeye başladığı “Çocuk Hakları” konseptiyle 2008′e merhaba dedi. Kirlenmek Güzeldir’in devam kampayası niteliğindeki ufak çaplı TV reklamlarının ardından robot çocukla start alan Çocuk Hakları teması OMO‘nun vizyonunu bir adım öne taşıyor. BBH‘in bu konuda gerçekten çok ciddi ve uzun süreli arge çalışmaları oldu; bir BBH yazarı olarak bu çalışmanın parçası olmak da benim için değerli bir tecrübe…
2007′de kulağıma küpe olanlar
2008’in ilk ışıkları ile başlayan ve iki haftadır şaşılacak bir kararlılıkla devam eden “bir başka sigara bırakma operasyonu” bugün grip kardeşimizin ziyaretiyle birleşti ve Olcay salonun ortasında uzanıp homurdanan adam heykeline dönüştü. Gündüz ilaçların etkisiyle sersemleşen bünye birer saatlik rahatsız uykularla kendini toparlamaya çalışırken, gece alevlenen semptomlar can sıkıntısı ibresini tavana vurdurdu. Hal böyleyken biraz müzik terapisi iyi gelebilir dedim. Hem siteyle de kaç zamandır ilgilenemiyordum. Derken geçtiğimiz yıla ait bir playlist çıkarmaya başladım. Sonuç olarak 2007 yılında çıkan ve kulaklarımın defalarca pasını silen 15 albüm tespit ettim. Aslında epey yeni albüm dinlemişim ancak bu 15 albümü gerçekten tabiri caizse hatim etmişim. Just kidding… While surfing around the net, I’ve found a website (http://directory.sootle.com/website-worth/) that valuates the websites. It takes a few seconds to see how much your website worth after you write your url to the empty box and click the button “check”. For example if you check: “www.google.com” you’ll see the value about: $136,939,010
But… the valuations are based on backlinks only. It has taken a value based on reported deals concerning website buyouts, and applied it to your website’s backlink totals (culled from Yahoo’s API). Anyway, it’s funny to use… Try?

10 Years ago on September 7, 1998, two guys name Sergey Brin and Larry Page incorporated Google in Susan Wojcicki’s garage. And it turned out to be the most used search engine in the world.
Google is a play on the word googol, which was coined by Milton Sirotta, nephew of American mathematician Edward Kasner, and was popularized in the book, Mathematics and the Imagination by Kasner and James Newman. It refers to the number represented by the numeral 1 followed by 100 zeros. Google’s use of the term reflects the company’s mission to organize the immense, seemingly infinite amount of information available on the web.
